Mrs Mamakouka

Mamakoukas’s family is a typical middle class Greek family living in Thesaloniki: father, mother along with their two daughters. They used to spend the holidays (Christmas, Easter and summer) always in Europe with their Super 8 camera, shooting the most significant moments of those trips. Through these short films you can see the girls growing up, the parents getting older, their transformation, not only their physical appearence but also their “characters”. When the father died the rest of the family continued this “habit”.
